Develop and maintain day-to-day relationships with key vendors in specific areas of responsibility, ensuring that Resolute, as a key customer, derives optimal value from these relationships. Collect and analyze key market information supporting the negotiation and implementation of specific logistics programs with rail, trucking, marine and warehousing companies. Interact with the sales team to better appreciate customer needs in terms of service and contracts under negotiations. Provide information to sales and planning departments on strategic and tactical decisions impacting customers and operations. Management of freight rates database claims and reconciliation of payment discrepancies. Prepare expenditure approvals/contract justification for each of our suppliers. Maintain clear communication with project team regarding deliverables Emit as-built control manuals based on site annotations coming from technicians and electricians.
