The Registered Nurse (RN) functions as a valuable member within both the CYMHP inpatient and emergency mental health services, providing care to children and youth with complex mental health issues. Acute Medicine at the Hamilton General Site encompasses 8 West and 8 South which are both Clinical Teaching Units. 8 West provides care to acute adult medical patients as well as alternate level care patients.
