The Security Professional is responsible for delivering quality protection programs and security services to patients, visitors and staff at Hamilton Health Sciences' various sites. The Officer will work with all areas of the organization, along with Hamilton Police Services, to continuously improve our service levels and meet our community's and staff's expectations.  To succeed in this role, you must have demonstrated effective verbal and written communication. The incumbent will regularly interact with others, using their interpersonal skills to diffuse contentious situations, provide support and reassurance of personal security, and enforce law and policy. In this role, you will be tasked with using technology to monitor, communicate appropriately, document events and input data for necessary report running. Importance will be placed on your passion for keeping others safe and your ability to organize your time effectively to ensure timely response and documentation of incidents, including complete and accurate report writing following investigations.

Job Description:Working on assigned shifts, you will work full time shifts providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents.
