Following the major growth to come at Soft Tex Pillows, we are opening 2 new positions as operational quality technicians.Reporting to the Quality & Continuous improvement manager, your mission will be ensure the operation product’s quality relied to the methodology and process used.We open 2 positions. 1 position is on the day shift and 1 position is on the night shift.Work schedule :Day : 7 AM to 4h15 PM, from Monday to Thursday and Friday, from 7 AM to 11h45 AMNight : 4h15 PM to 1h30 AM from Monday to Thursday and Friday, from 11h45 to 4h30 PMHere is more precisely your future tasks :To validate the customer standards at the first piece produced;Manage quarantine zone;Carry out quality inspection tours;Inspect raw materials during receiving;Audit finished products;Support employee’s training in terms of quality. Responsabilités et fonctions :Faisant partie de l’équipe de direction et appuyé par deux superviseurs, votre rôle consistera à gérer et orienter un département de 75 personnes responsables de l’assemblage et de la distribution de lève-patient. De façon générale votre rôle consistera à :Assurer la gestion des différents départements de la production;Planifier les ressources matérielles pour la production ainsi que de l’aménagement des espaces de travail;Contrôler et participer à la planification des coûts et des budgets pour le département de production;Établir et chercher à améliorer les diverses tâches entourant la production (sous-traitance, main-d’œuvre, etc.);Diriger des projets d’amélioration de l’espace disponible (aménagement, optimisation, etc.);Collaborer avec le responsable de l’approvisionnement afin de respecter les délais de livraison;Participer activement à l’introduction de nouveaux produits développés par le département de R&D ;Créer et mettre à jour des procédures de gestion de la production et de contrôle d’inventaire;Évaluer, proposer et gérer les projets d’investissement;Assurer et piloter la prévention des risques et du plan d’action en cas d’évènement majeur;Assurer le respect des instructions de travail relatives à son département ;Participer avec l’équipe de direction en place, à la mise en place du plan stratégique.Qu’avons-nous à t’offrir ? La combinaison de formation ou d’expérience équivalente pourra être considérée ;Expérience comme gestionnaire dans un environnement complexe (lean manufacturing, norme qualité, entreprise internationale, variété de clientèle interne et externe) (atout majeur)Expérience en gestion financière;Bilingue anglais et français 4/5;Très bonnes connaissances des systèmes informatiques, système ERP un atout;Intérêt marqué en supervision directe, leadership démontré et excellentes habiletés de communication;Être proactif et en mode solutions ;Être organisé, systématique, discipliné, posé, terre à terre, minutieux;Capacité à gérer les urgences au quotidien ;Intérêt et ouverture aux nouvelles technologies ;Aisance à travailler dans un milieu réglementé.
