Our public sector client requires an Enhanced Reliability Cleared Senior Quality Assurance Tester to support the modernization projects as well as the maintenance of its legacy systems in the public sector. Responsibilities: a. Develop the test strategy and Master Test Plans. b. Develop test scenarios and test scripts. c. Lead testing efforts as defined in the testing strategy. d. Manage and monitor test plans for all levels of testing. e. Manage walkthroughs and reviews related to testing and implementation readiness. f. Establish and maintain source and object code libraries for a multi-platform, multioperating system environment. g. Establish software testing procedures for unit testing, integration testing and regression testing with emphasis on automating the testing procedures. h. Establish and operate ''interoperability'' testing procedures to ensure that the interaction and co-existence of various software elements, which are proposed to be distributed on the common infrastructure, conform to appropriate departmental standards (e.g. for performance, compatibility, etc.) and have no unforeseen detrimental effects on the shared infrastructure. i. Establish a validation and verification capability which assumes functional and performance compliance. j. Provide status reporting. k. Prepare reports on the effectiveness and defects to the operation/engineering team.
