This is a co-lead position that will work collaboratively with the existing Lead of the Simulation, Resuscitation and Outreach program.   The Program Lead of the Simulation, Resuscitation and Outreach Training Center reports directly to the Manager of patient safety, McMaster Children is Hospital and works collaboratively with our frontline teams and medical staff. The Program Lead of the Simulation, Resuscitation and Outreach Training Center is accountable for the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of PEARS, PALS, NRP, ALS, BLS and tracheostomy and ventilator training as well as custom tailored simulation activities. The Program Lead of the Simulation, Resuscitation and Outreach Training Center Outreach/PALS Specialist is a liaison with the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, the McMaster University Continuing Medical Education (CME) and with the McMaster Practical Skills Laboratory.  The Program Lead of the Simulation, Resuscitation and Outreach Training Center is also responsible to participate in and implement new initiatives from time to time such as ACORN (Acute Care of the at Risk Newborn).  Deliverables include sustaining and growing the program.
