Become CCIL Certified for concrete, aggregates, and hot mix asphalt. Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) testing of soils, aggregates and asphalt on a wide variety of construction projects (commercial, industrial, and institutional infrastructure projects). Input of any testing results, with accuracy and documentation. Current lab testing, and calibrations for all equipment being used. Ensure health and safety policies are followed in all areas of the lab and take WSP's Life Saving rules to heart.What you'll bring to WSP ... Minimum of 1 year experience with materials testing and inspection, or equivalent academic background. Diploma or Degree in Civil Technology or Engineering. Familiar with civil construction practices and relevant testing standards. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel. Familiar with Quality Management Systems. Experience in writing technical reports, business development and client relations an asset. Able to work independently in construction and laboratory settings and liaise with local office manager, supervisors, and contractor personnel.
