Your role As ENG/EFP Camera Operator, you will operate portable mobile cameras as well as peripherals to develop and conceive photography and visual effects via framing and original camera shots, with a view to meeting and anticipating the program's desired objectives as well as artistic, dramatic and other intentions. You will also be responsible for coordinating the installation and verification of the equipment under your control as well as the transfer of the collected material. Please note that you will be called to work on different shifts during the week and the weekends.We are looking for a candidate with the following: Qualifications: College Diploma in Television Production and Postproduction Techniques or any relevant diploma.Minimum two (2) to three (3) years' experience in the TV production and/or filming programs, news and/or remote broadcast. Skills: Very good non linear editing experience (Avid an asset).Demonstrated knowledge in editing, audio, lighting, camera work, and computers.Excellent command of spoken and written French.Good knowledge of English, an asset.Able to work effectively on a team.Creativity and self-starter.Able to make quick, independent decisions.Knowledge of and interest in current events in the Estrie region.Digital production experience, an asset.Valid driver's license, as well as a driving record that meets the criteria of CBC/Radio-Canada's insurer.Selected candidates will be tested as follows:Interview.Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
