When not supervising students, the incumbent will provide direct clinical services and carry an active caseload as part of the rehabilitation team, and direct services to communities within the Northwest region that may experience intermittent gaps in physiotherapy coverage. As part the rehabilitation team, and in collaboration with organizational and community leaders, the incumbent will also support the development of the primary health model and the rehabilitation programs and services required to improve the functional independence, education, and self management capacity of individuals and their families. The incumbent operates under a collaborative reporting structure, with direct administrative reporting to the Manager of Rehabilitation Services (Prince Rupert/Haida Gwaii), and an oversight reporting relationship to a representative steering committee.
