Job Details The TDS Payments Delivery Team within TDS Data, Delivery and Integration department serves as a centralized function for managing the intake, assessment, prioritization, planning and implementation processes surrounding the TDS Payments Platform. A streamlined and efficient stakeholder engagement framework is used to ensure that all relevant considerations (requirements, impacts, constraints, cross-dependencies, strategic direction) are factored into prioritization decisions and in deciding on the implementation approach. The TDS Payments Delivery team partners closely with stakeholder groups from across the organization including (but not limited to) Global Transaction Banking, Operations, Compliance, Technology, Enterprise Payments, Enterprise Control Partners, Strategic Sourcing Group, TRMIS etc. to drive and delivery on initiatives that specifically impact TDS payments infrastructure. The Delivery Lead, will report into the Senior Delivery Manager/Project Delivery Lead and will lead the implementation of various initiatives in the Payments platform space using an end-to-end lens towards delivery and integration. Additional job details are summarized below: •Lead and manage and track various stages of the delivery cycle, from intake and prioritization, to analysis, requirement clarification, planning and production implementation. •Provide timely and effective communication on project/initiative status, analyses and findings to senior stakeholders •Have the ability to influence partners toward solutions while ensuring appropriate transparency, reporting and escalation. •Understand and manage cross-stream interdependencies •Scrum Facilitation (acting ScrumMaster on projects when required), •Provide support in alleviating roadblocks throughout all stages of delivery. •Assist in formulating recommendations regarding delivery approach after consultation with key stakeholder groups on estimated effort, resource availability, cross-program dependencies and other implementation constraints. •Escalating issues and impediments accordingly to effectively drive delivery. Job Requirements •5+ years relevant experience in project delivery in Capital Markets or Payments •Facilitates project execution through Rapid, TD Agile, and Waterfall delivery approaches as appropriate. •Accountable for key delivery decisions and aligning technology and business objectives into a shared delivery vision •Supports the Executive Sponsor and Business Owner in structuring and securing approval for business case and funding •Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), including ability to formulate impactful methods of communication. •Establishes program governance structures for effective delivery orchestration, meeting TD's governance control objectives •Experienced with project delivery success, preferably in Capital Markets and Payments related initiatives •Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of project management including strong working knowledge of delivery methodology and collaboration tools including JIRA and Confluence and using Agile approaches. •Experience with project delivery/scrum coaching through leading streams and/or representing a business in a large program. •Exposure to financial management with respect to tracking, forecasting and managing project budgets. •Strong leadership skills lead by example, champion change and develop a highly motivated team to consistently exceed expectations •Ability to make an impact, influence and achieve results with effective negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills •Strong inter-personal skills including conflict resolution, influencing and negotiation •Team player with ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners •Excellent organizational skills (ability to employ systematic approach for identifying and tracking dependencies, ensuring proper resolution of outstanding items, and structuring meetings/discussions).• Familiarity with one or more of the following functional areas: Operations, technology, risk management, quantitative analytics, or business management is highly desired. •Payments Landscape knowledge (including but not limited to Wires over SWIFT, Other rails like Visa or Interac, ISO20022, FED, Fedwire, US Payments, Client Statements, Client preferences, industry evolution, Regulatory Reporting) is highly desired. •Familiarity with a variety of financial product types/asset classes acquired through previous tenure in a capital markets role is highly desired.
