Position Overview Under the supervision of the Fleet Administration Supervisor, the Preventative Maintenance Service Person will be responsible for preventative/corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, installation/dismantling of systems, and diagnosing/repairs of earthmoving/paving construction equipment. The PM Service Person will sit out of our Calgary, Alberta office. Key Responsibilities Ensures all Workplace Safety, Environmental and National Safety Code Policies and Regulations are being adhered to. Read diagrams/schematics and manufacturers repair manuals for work procedures. Operate a hoist and lift device to position machinery parts in a safe manner. Inspect and examine on highway and off highway construction equipment. Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble, and maintain vehicles and equipment. Timely and accurate diagnosis and repair including computer connection/diagnosis with machine to identify fault codes. Performing hands on maintenance and repairs of all equipment. Diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic troubles. Making repairs according to the manufacturers specifications. Suggest positive changes to policy and procedures as required. Initiative, diligence and reliability. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Willing to travel and work alternate shift patterns to accommodate operational requirements. Other duties as required. LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is seeking a responsible and patient-oriented individual to join our team in Barrie, ON, Ontario in a dual role with a primary role as a Lab Patient Technician and secondary role as a Mobile Lab Patient Technician. In the Lab Patient Technician role you will: Greet and request required information from patients, explain the specimen collection process, and ensure patients have followed necessary test protocol prior to specimen collection. Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, and perform ECG tracings. Perform special test collections, such as medical/legal drug screens, paternity tests, and clinical trials, and complete related documentation. Maintain client relationships, including responding to inquiries and following up on requests. Complete data entry of required patient demographics, requisition information, and other information related to processing test results. Prepare specimens for transportation and testing. This is a casual part time position to cover vacations, sick time and training. This is a dual role between Homecare and working in the patient service centre. Candidate must be flexible and have their own reliable vehicle.
