Clinical responsibilities include supporting the Leslie Diamond Women’s Heart Health Centre as a principal commitment in addition to general cardiology coverage at Vancouver General Hospital. This role will also be a clinical faculty position within the Division of Cardiology at the University of British Columbia (UBC). As part of the UBC Division of Cardiology’s academic focus, the successful candidate is expected to substantially support the development and growth of the UBC Cardiology research and teaching programs. The Division of Cardiology will support an appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor or higher, however clinical faculty appointments at UBC are assigned at a rank determined by the Appointments and Promotion Committee of the UBC Department of Medicine. The Division operates an academic practice plan, which the successful candidate is expected to contribute to, and be eligible to receive a supplementary stipend for exceptional academic contribution.
