The ideal candidate will have a background in Kinesiology and will also hold (or be willing to acquire) OFA Level 3 certification, which is a requirement of the position. This position will operate out of the Occupational First Aid Room and will facilitate onsite visits to employees during their recovery. This role works exclusively with the employees, supervisors, H&S employee claims team and external treatment providers to ensure appropriate triage for care, detailed documentation and coordination of employee incidents, and employees' successful recovery at work while adhering to WorkSafe guidelines and requirements. Job Responsibilities: Deliver prompt first aid assessment and treatment to Whistler Blackcomb employees for occupational and non-occupational related injuries. Coordinate the triage and transport of injured persons to higher level of care as appropriate and necessary Coordinate, triage, and administer the Stay All Season non-occupational physiotherapy program Manage the Recover at Work (RAW) Program, which includes assigning modified work and facilitating graduated recover at work plans with both the Supervisor and the employee based on injury limitations Ensure appropriate corrective action is taken to reduce employee disability related absence and cost Aid in the facilitation of employee wellness programs and non-occupational injury management Preparation and distribution of weekly and monthly injury reports.
