Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for ICI renovation projects.Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.Making sure estimating are complete when guaranteeing the cost of a project (GMP).Understanding scope of project.Assisting sales in securing new work.Developing relationships with architects and engineers in network.Assisting engineering in reviewing change order.Present cost estimates to upper management.Prepare reports detailing all of the costs going into a project.Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant information for estimating purposes.Work with the Senior Estimators to close tenders and proposals.All other responsibilities as required.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of sub trades on site on a daily basis;Site responsibility for on time on budget construction;Coordinate mobilization/demobilization of resources;Ensure quality build on the following: building layout, interior and exterior wall layout, workmanship, grades, hardscaping, soft scaping, parking lot;Track progress on site daily to meet work schedules and budgets;Prepare and deliver progress reports, quantities to Project Managers and Management on regular basis;Build three week look ahead schedules.Liaise with various consultants, government inspectors, architects, engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers;Identify any scope changes;Coordinating with tenant general contractors, sub trades, timelines;Ensure and enforce compliance to all company, client and legislated Safety policies and procedures;Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation.
