AH, originally founded in 1895 and located in the historic town of New Glasgow, is the regional acute care facility serving residents of Pictou County. Completed in 2017, the emergency department at AH underwent an extensive redevelopment to improve the layout and workflow of the existing space. All rooms are equipped with critical care equipment, and the 25,000 square-foot space features two isolation rooms and specialty rooms including triage rooms and two trauma bays with direct access to the helipad. The Level 2 emergency department provides 24/7 access to emergency services. Field Effect is looking to expand its Cyber Security Training Content Development team. This team is responsible for creating hands-on labs, exercises, Capture the Flag (CTF) and large scenario-based content for users of our Cyber Range platform. The skill level of the content ranges from introductory courses on basic concepts, CTF competition creation, to a simulation of a full-fledged on-going cyber attack. Responsibilities Develop cutting-edge labs and exercises for training those in pursuit of the real cyber security skills Identify skills and concepts absent from our current portfolio and propose ideas for new content Create virtual machines, set up all elements to create an environment for learning Stay current with cyber threats and breaches in the media. Undertake the design, procurement, and installation of new processes & equipment.
