Despite receiving care at home, these patients are considered inpatients. The Hospital at Home care is short-term and accessible around the clock, every day of the year.A healthcare team, including a doctor, nurse, and other specialists, delivers care to the patient through a combination of in-person home visits and virtual visits (via phone and/or video).
