The Project Coordinator should be adept at analytical thinking, taking the time to understand the team needs, business goals and project constraints to assist in project completion. The position will be required to fulfill Project Management (PM) duties for various projects as assigned by the Manager of Innovation: Analytics & Projects.The individual will place a high emphasis on project management as it relates to facilitating corporate projects. The individual would have an extremely high level of organization and time management skills. The individual will coordinate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects that align with the vision, meet customer needs, and are delivered in a consistently high-quality standard. Using a customer centric approach, the Project Coordinator will look to leverage Design thinking and Agile methodologies to assist in project management.Key Accountabilities:Project Coordination – 80%Support the entire lifecycle of specific projects, ranging from strategic planning initiatives to tactical activities.Develop, manage and control project schedules by updating and communicating timelines with the working team.Follow up on outstanding tasks, manage/mitigate risks in the project escalating issues if and when necessary.Leveraging ‘Stage-Gate’ approach to projects where applicable.Schedule meetings with internal groups and external vendors as needed.Facilitate meetings, document the minutes of the discussion, communicate in a timely manner, and follow up on actions for completeness prior to the next meeting.Assist in establishing a Project Charter for the specified project, defining the project's goals, objectives, risks, assumptions, staffing levels, roles and responsibilities, work breakdown structure, milestones, and deliverables.Document project requirements and scope, project resources, and monitor the efforts of project team members.Efficient delivery of project deliverables, effective quality control, clear communication of expectations to stakeholders and upward reporting to senior management.Conduct project postmortems in order to identify areas for improvement; make recommendations based on findings.Closely monitor the efforts and billing of third-party workers such as consultants, contractors, and other specialists.Conduct cost-benefit analyses, risk analyses, and ROI calculations to determine project feasibility.Promote and use the Software Requirement Specification (SRS) for relevant projects.Perform other duties as required.Process Improvement & Implementation – 15%Apply process improvement methodologies to process improvement initiatives.Prepare process recommendation documents including presentations, process models, supporting metrics, business requirements and related impact analysis.Assist in the implementation of new processes with necessary stakeholders.
