Education Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree may be preferred or considered a plus. Experience Typically, 4-8 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering projects. Experience in the design, analysis, and management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Experience with various aspects of water treatment, wastewater treatment, pipeline design, pump stations, and related systems. Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations. Technical Skills Knowledge of water quality parameters, treatment processes, and distribution/conveyance systems. Understanding of wastewater collection systems, stormwater management, and related infrastructure. Capacity to identify and solve engineering challenges related to water and wastewater projects. Analytical mindset to assess data, trends, and performance metrics for infrastructure systems. Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Self-motivated and driven to achieve project objectives and meet deadlines. Problem-solving orientation and a proactive attitude towards challenges. Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and leading project-related meetings. Collaborative approach to working within a team environment, both internally and externally.
