Our established professional services client is seeking a Support Analyst to join their growing team in downtown Calgary! They are an innovative, passionate team, promoting a professional, supportive and engaging environment to their team members. As a Support Analyst, you will deliver tier-1 to tier-2 support for Calgary office personnel. In this role, you'll be the primary IT point of contact in the Calgary office, supported by a remote technical team in Vancouver and Toronto. RESPONSIBILITIES Providing timely support and resolution for software, network, and hardware related requests. Performing root cause analysis to resolve problems; Training staff and contactors on the effective use of computer equipment and software Perform installation, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to computers, printers, and any other peripherals as required Setting up user accounts, and end user hardware / software. Adding / removing / updating user account information as necessary. Ensuring system security is maintained Preparing and assigning of loaner laptops, video-conference and webinar set-up, mobile devices, etc; Setup of meeting room technology Supporting document management system, and office automation software Reporting on support trends, and issues to IT management; Testing new applications and/or changes to existing applications REQUIREMENTS A degree or diploma in computer systems; 3 -5 years of relevant experience in an IT support role Problem solving skills, ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues Knowledge of the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer Windows OS (server and workstation); Understanding and experience using Azure / AWS Knowledge of enterprise hardware and software Knowledge of IT Service Desk processes, support SLAs In depth knowledge of desktop, laptop, printer hardware Experience with endpoint management tools such as Group Policy, Intune Networking knowledge/skills, including enterprise wireless, switches, firewalls, and VPN Knowledge of email systems and SMTP protocol Experience with VMWare’s ESX platform Experience with SharePoint administration Experience with VOIP systems, Cisco Unified Communications Understanding of IT security principles Excellent organization, teamwork, and problem solving skills COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $60,000 - $80,000 per year 3 weeks vacation Extended Health and Dental Benefits Annual wellness benefit HOW TO APPLY Please apply directly to this posting with the most recent version of your resume.
