About the Role This person is accountable for retrieving raw material from home locations and delivering it to assembly lines/presses in order to meet production as well as delivering finished goods to the warehouse. Your Responsibilities • Performs shift pre-inspections as outlined by Ontario Health and Safety Act (OHSA), on all material handling equipment. • Ensures material handling equipment and batteries are maintained and charged based on the manufactures guidelines and recommendations, and department standards. • Ensure all supply racks are filled with raw material. • Exclusively responsible for moving raw material in and out of the designated rows throughout the plant. • Based on work order, retrieves correct level parts from home locations. • Greases specific purchase material prior to taking them to the assembly line. • Ensure that components, skids, etc., are available to line operators on an as needed basis. • Remove old labels from empty returnable containers for finished goods. • Remove scrap, cardboard and garbage from the line area and dispose of it according to procedures provided. • Ensure product rotation (First in, First out procedure - FIFO), is maintained for all material. • Focus on supporting the production lines while avoiding excess inventory on line. • Straightening skids, boxes, and bins throughout the plant, removing labels and debris from empty customer totes. • Organizes line changeovers in advance and returns all parts and or containers, which are not used, back to the warehouse home locations. • Placing partial skids back on racks. • Verify finished goods tote quantity match master label. • Verify label presence on all finished goods totes and stretch wrap skids when applicable. • Band skids and deliver to toll gate when applicable. • Back up the Shipper/Receiver. • Operate Industrial Sit-Down and Reach type forklift and ensure it is in good working order. • Decanting material from large bins or boxes into totes as required. We are looking for a talented individual to join our winning team where you will have a chance to grow and deliver world class service to our customers. ***Please note that the shift is working during the afternoon shift from3:30 pm to 12:00 am(Midnight) - working Sundays through to Thursdays with days off Fridays and Saturdays*** What you will be doing: •Focus on excellence in execution - process customer orders and returns on time and accurately •Meet team targets by "going to the work" •Execute all customer-facing tasks with precision and speed •Improve Order Accuracy •Improve Inventory accuracy & control •Meetindividual cycle time and efficiency targets •Meet all Customer Service Metric targets •Follow all policies & procedures Forklift •Operate all equipment in a safe manner •Maintain certification requirements for operation of equipment •Inspect equipment per policies & regulations Receiving •Unload product from trucks •Match products in shipments to purchase orders •Inspect, sort, count & verify inventory •Stage products for put away activities Returns & Restocking •Unload product from shipping containers and stage for crediting activities •Process credits for customer returns •Sort & control inventory for restock, return to vendor or liquidation •Inspect & prepare inventory for restocking •Put away inventory into corresponding location Fulfillment •Put away inventory into corresponding location •Print & prepare orders for picking activities •Pick customer orders and stage for packing activities •Pack, label & check customer orders and stage for shipping activities •Scan, weigh & ship customers orders and load onto trucks •Process inventory kitting activities as requested Inventory •Consolidate inventory, perform cycle counting and stock adjustments, ensure inventory is in the right location. Understand inventory processes •Assist in inventory and counting procedures •Maintain a clean & safe workstation •Maintain equipment & tools •Organize & maintain inventory of packing materials (bins, boxes, collates etc.) What you will bring: Must possess a current forklift license and have a minimum of 3 years of forklift experience Must great working knowledge of RF technology and inventory count/ movement experience. Must be able to learn new processes quickly in a fast-paced environment. Must have a positive attitude and be willing to work as part of an inventory team. Must be able to work independently and meet targets and follow detailed instructions on theafternoon shift.
