WSP is currently seeking an Intermediate Instrumentation & Controls Specialist to join our Waste & Wastewater team located at our Yukon, Alberta, or Manitoba offices. Reporting to the Instrumentation and Controls Manager, the successful candidate will be required to have knowledge and experience in programming, installation, testing of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), development, deployment and servicing of Supervisory Control and Data Aquation (SCADA) Systems, development, and deployment of Human Machine Interface's (HMI). The incumbent will also be responsible for proving remote and if required, onsite commissioning and service work in the water and wastewater sector.Why WSP? The integrator is a key player in the team, ensuring the technology delivered is secure, reliable, available, resilient, performant, and aligned with safety standards per business requirements. Main ResponsibilitiesLab Infra : ·       Maintain LAB infrastructure devices that provide connectivity to different devices and solutions (Cisco, Nokia, Arista, Ixia, and other platforms). ·       Install devices (routers, switches, servers, wireless controllers, etc.) and cabling. ·       Keep up-to-date documentation that reflects the configuration, inventory, and lifecycle of the lab equipment. ·       Maintain an organized and clean LAB environment. ·       Managed the requests for lab testing from the stakeholders. ·       Ensure the LAB is maintained at industry standard quality levels. ·       Maintain LAB applications and Servers.   Certification of Devices and Solutions : ·       Work with stakeholders to setup test environments for telecom solutions and devices. ·       Work with technologies (BGP, DMVPN, VLANs, DHCP, LAN Sec, etc.). ·       Knowledge in testing and automation tooling (IXIA traffic generator, WAN Emulator). ·       Understanding of Security (Zoning, VLAN,
