What You'll Be Doing Work with a team to assemble manufactured and purchased components to meet the specifications as indicated by assembly drawings. This may be done as part of a team for large complex assemblies, or smaller stand-alone cells. Assemblies may include complex arrangements and may require fitting and adjustment to meet close tolerances. Working with Mechanical Design, Controls, Purchasing and other members of the Samuel Automation team to overcome technical issues and roadblocks. Travel to customer site for onsite installation of equipment. Additional hours may be required for scheduled or unscheduled onsite customer service on evenings or weekends You'll Be Great At Paying attention to details Troubleshooting and problem solving Technical aptitude with capacity to understand mechanical drawings Math skills and able to use measurement tools Excellent written and verbal communication Able to work independently as well as part of a team Level of Autonomy and Authority Work with detailed supervision, typically on a team with more experience builders. Difficult, complex or unusual matters are referred to more senior authority.
