Ensure that all mechanical works are carried out in accordance with the agreed method statements and in line with the specifications provided by the TBM supplier. Ensure that all TBM mechanical works are carried out in accordance with safety and environment regulations and project quality standards. Prepare all documentation relating to TBM maintenance. Management and supervision of a team of TBM mechanics. Managing and ordering spare parts. Interface with other departments in a constructive way. Supervise and provide support for trouble shooting and preventive maintenance Organizing and planning work for future mechanical operations Carry out daily plant inspections, complete and submit maintenance/ breakdown reports Liaising with TBM Electrical team for planning of ongoing and future works Ensuring Method Statements and Risk assessments are in place for ongoing and future mechanical works Inspecting and auditing the plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained in accordance with Canadian Standards Responsible for accurate and effective shift handovers Required Knowledge and Skills Trade or Qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering 2-3 years experience in civil or tunnelling construction, typically 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role 2-3 years experience in basic use of Microsoft Office Suite, data and file recording 2-3 years' experience working on TBM projects 2-3 years experience on major infrastructure construction operations of similar scale with a proven ability to operate in a dynamic ''live'' environment and to meet significant program hurdles Experience in Safety, Community and Environmental Management Experience in Quality Management Experience in Planning & Resourcing In depth knowledge of TBM, slurry pump, Slurry Treatment Plant and associated tunnel related equipment Sound knowledge of civil construction materials / service Sound knowledge of local WHS standards and regulations Ability to supervise team members, work closely with safety and other departments to control and maintain project safety standards Demonstrate a positive and collaborative ''can-do'' attitude.
