The Assistant will respond to inquiries from medical staff regarding credentialing and privileging processes, procedures, provincial regulations, and IH Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules as well as connecting medical staff to the appropriate contacts. In addition, the Assistant understands the critical nature of the functions of Credentialing and Privileging with respect to quality of medical care, patient safety, and the impact provincially of the integrity of the data entered into the shared provincial credentialing and privileging system.
