Responsibilities 3D modeling of Power Distribution, Circuiting, Grounding, Lightening Protection, Lighting, Fixture Selection, and Fire Alarm System (FAS); Assist designers with system design and modeling of Electrical Systems, and Lighting Design, equipment selection, and Lighting Fixtures; Prepare Electrical installation details; Work individually or part of the team to develop the drawings for submission; 3D modeling of Power Distribution, Circuiting, Grounding, Conduit and Duct Bank routing, interior and exterior Lighting, and Fire Alarm System; Assist with Electrical Designers and EIT's with system design; Assist with corporate BIM standards, policies and procedures; Assist with developing cutting edge tools to support BIM team in efficient workflows; Coordinate with WSP's offshore design team; Stay up-to-date with the latest trends related to BIM and design automation Attend Autodesk University (when necessary), representing WSP and joining your global colleagues to share best practices. Qualifications Superior knowledge of Revit, BIM360, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM Revit add-ins support tools Previous experience with supporting National or Regional BIM standards considered an asset; Previous experience with design automation and production through technology considered an asset; Passion for BIM technologies with ability to promote these technologies and practices to increase user effectiveness; Knowledge of Power Distribution, Circuiting, Lighting Design, equipment sizing, and Fire Alarm Systems considered an asset; MicroStation knowledge and familiarity with TTC Standards are considered an asset CompensationExpected Salary (all locations): $62,600 to 106,400WSP Canada is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it will pay for this position based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to the specific geographic location.
