Pension Plan with match Competitive wages Responsibilities :As the Ontario Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve unit sales target, revenue, overall GP and drive business growth. This role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, overseeing day to day sales activity and fostering a high-performance culture within the sales team. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans and exceed company Sales targets. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for business growth. Collaborate with the VP of Sales to align sales strategies with overall company objectives. Team Leadership: Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Recruit, train and manage a high-performing sales team. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture to enhance productivity and job satisfaction. Sales Performance: Oversee the day to performance of the sales team. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. i.e. prospecting, sales funnel etc. Implement and optimize sales process to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional strategies. Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare monthly sales forecasts and reports for the VP of Sales Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance sales performance. Training and Development: Communicate with our factory teams and corporate trainers to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team. Review with induvial sales reps their yearly business plan quarterly to ensure target alignment. Budget Management: Jointly with the VP of sales develop and manage the Ontario sales department budget. Monitor expenses and ensure cost effectiveness within the sales department. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross functional teams, including service centre, part centre, rental centre, marketing, finance and product development to achieve overall business objectives. Communicate effectively with the VP of sales to ensure alignment of sales goals and priorities. Other duties could be assigned as the position is developed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field an asset but not necessary. Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role (Min.5-10 years' experience) Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
