Injection Moulding Maintenance Technician / Millwright / Industrial Mechanic: Harvey 2596 Reports to: Maintenance Lead Characteristics and Traits- Competency Requirements: Attention to detail.Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.Be conscious about housekeeping and time management.Able to communicate effectively.Ability to adapt to change.Able to work in a team setting. Roles & Responsibilities: Collaborate with all supporting staff and teams.Always adheres to all occupational work safety rules and regulations.Shift flexibility and the ability to work overtime as needed to ensure production uptime in plant.Maintain and repair all production and facility equipment and ensure equipment downtime is at a minimum.Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on the following equipment:-          Injection moulding machines-          Chillers-          Air compressors-          Process pumps.-          Part picking robots.-          Mold heaters 6~20 zones-          Material blenders-          Material Conveyor System-          Vacuum pumps-          ForkliftsPreventative Maintenance: adhere to schedule, maintain proper documentation, and perform routine maintenance on all machines.Perform basic facility maintenance and repairs as requested i.e. doors, electrical, minor fabrication (welding, lathe work…)Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdown.Procurement of maintenance supplies, spare parts, and tools; including but not limited to managing inventory levels of spare parts.Coordinate repairs with external contractors as needed.Maintain and organize maintenance shop! Cross training: Assist with production shifts when required.Perform and/or assist teams with other related duties as required such as mold and insert changes. Qualification / Experience requirement: Mechanical experience in a manufacturing/production environmentComprehensive knowledge and experience with hydraulic systems, basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.Demonstrate qualifications through hands-on execution of mechanical and technical skills.Capable to learn the use of test instruments.Comfortable with motors, and variable speed drivesBasic English reading and writing skills, ability to read and interpret control diagram.Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.Able to learn electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.Ability to solve basic mathematical functions.Good multitasking and prioritization skillsBasic knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Required Education/Training: Forklift certification.Any formal mechanical and/or electrical training, an asset.  This is a fulltime position.Salary of $33.00 to $45.00 per hour, depending on experienceBenefits available after 3 monthsHours: 8-hr shifts, Afternoon shift 12 - 8pm with flexibility in hours and overtime availability as needed

This is an excellent opportunity for a 433A Industrial Millwright to bring their knowledge and experience to our manufacturing facility. As a Millwright, you will work alongside other professionals (mechanics & electricians) to diagnose and repair various types of equipment that helps manufacture our tubing. Duties - Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs production machinery to ensure an effective maintenance system and achieve the highest performance of production equipment. - Diagnoses problems and troubleshoots hydraulic and pneumatic systems for the equipment. - Performs gas and electric welding. - Ensures that all work and inspections are properly documented and communicated, for example, but not limited: related work details, changes to the equipment, and health and safety issues. - Set up and operates maintenance machinery.
