Accountabilities/Responsibilities:Under the general supervision of the First Cook, prepares and cooks foodstuffs in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served.Cleans and maintains dining room area including shelves and floors.Cleans and sets dining room tables and fills beverage, salt, sugar, and other condiment containers. Cleans and maintains supplies for steam and salad tables, such as dishes and utensils. Prepares coffee and cold beverages and may be required to work on steam tables from time to time. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor. QualificationsGrowth, Development & Qualifications:Must have experience as a Mess Hall Attendant in a larger construction camp or institutional setting.Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items.Must have good attendance record.Must have good disciplinary record.May be required to work shifts, including split shifts - Days & NightsMust undergo and pass a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.Personal and professional integrity, appearance, and demeanor.Embodies our value behaviors: Service Spirit, Team Spirit, and the Spirit of Progress.High School Diploma an asset but not required.Must have food safety certificate.
