Position Summary: Directly responsible to accurately receive all saleable and non-saleable merchandise, into the store and coordinates all outgoing shipments. Communicates merchandise arrival to store team to ensure appropriate turnaround time of stock and organizes freight to the sales floor. This position is dedicated to the receiving function 80% of the time, and 20% of the time being spent on the sales floor supporting the replenishment function. This associate will also have keyholder responsibilities for the back door. Primary Responsibilities: RECEIVING • Responsible for scanning and verifying all received product against the packing slip. • Responsible for coordinating product flow to the sales floor. • Prioritizes 'Out of Stock' merchandise to ensure management and associates are informed upon arrival. • Develops and maintains an efficient filing system for all relevant paperwork (Purchase Orders (PO's), courier forms, transfer documents, etc). • Using proper scan receiving procedures, responsible to ensure all shipments are received, sent and keyed on the same day including warranty services. • All out going product is to be properly documented and labeled according to company standards. • Responsible for printing relevant receiving reports to ensure that all are received or sent with no outstanding PO's or transfers. • Responsible for the Return to Vendor (RTV) and Ebay process. • Accountable for the input and integrity of appropriate back end paperwork. Who we are looking for • Completion of an Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technician course or equivalent from a community or recognized college program consisting of two years or more and/or • Certificate of Qualification in a Formet recognized trade Your Responsibilities • Perform all duties and promote themselves in a manner that reflects Formet Expectations and Formet’s Visions/Values through Magna’s Employee Charter. • Follow and abide by all government, Legal, Magna and Formet rules and regulations. • Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction activities. • Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area and perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with the safety policies of Formet. • PLC troubleshooting and programming for large automation production lines, both on shop floor and remote interaction. • Navigating and creating Standard PLC structures, programming for Rockwell PLC’s. • PLC interfacing and programming control for integration of FANUC material handling, MIG welding, laser cutting robotic applications and Vision assisted handling. • Integrate safe machine control using safety PLC structure and architectural design. • Utilize AutoCAD to design, and provide support for reading, modifying, and understanding machine design content. • Network interfacing for on-machine and plant communication using Ethernet, IO link, Profibus and Profinet. • Programming data collection flow and archiving of historian data for analysis. • HMI programming for machine interface via Ignition and Rockwell software. • Data Matrix code reading for product traceability. • Machine vision inspection for part certification during processing. • Programming and troubleshooting motion control and VFD applications using Rockwell integrated control. • Mechanical, pneumatic support as it relates to a controls process. • Use conventional and servo hydraulic systems for piercing, riveting and forming processes. • Co-ordinate activities of apprentices, helpers and assigned contractors. • Assists in developing and/or updating preventive maintenance procedures. • Conduct all activities in a professional manner and positive attitude with emphasis on personal responsibility. • Interact with the team members running the line to look for improvements or ideas to improve your/their job/task and improve line Safety, Quality and Productivity. • Preventative maintenance on Equipment - identify weakness in design and implement improvements.
