The successful candidate must be an experienced professional who can internalize our various business needs and develop sound architectural solutions to deliver on our business objectives.We are seeking for an individual with outstanding interpersonal skills, able to nurture and maintain positive relationship with external partners, with sophisticated knowledge of good architecture practices, and proficient experience using data technologies to improve decision making.Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to play a meaningful role in shaping our organization's data strategy and data architecture, and join our team!Responsibilities Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures Develop and maintain the enterprise-wide data architecture strategy, ensuring that the strategy supports delivery of both current and future business objectives Monitor, assess, and improve the organization's data architecture, including for data models, data flows, data quality, and data integration processes Manage a comprehensive roadmap of architecture change initiatives across the enterprise, detailing current and target states, leading data architecture governance forums, and ensuring stakeholders are briefed and aligned on improvement plans Lead all aspects of the delivery of the data architecture target state through delivery of data standards, standard practices, guidelines, and technical direction Provide technical expertise for change initiatives, working with solution architects, technical architects, and product owners Provide technical oversight to Solution Architects, ensuring solutions adhere to the enterprise architecture and data governance standards, and ensuring that the standards are effective at supporting delivery of the desired business outcomes Be an advocate of data security and protection principles and ensure appropriate practices are included in all technical solutions Lead efforts to improve data quality, data lineage, and metadata management through improvements to data architecture Stay ahead of with industry trends, new technologies, and standard processes in data architecture and management Provide guidance and mentoring to various technical teams Qualifications A Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field A minimum of ten years of experience in data architecture or data engineering, with significant experience designing and implementing sophisticated data solutions, preferably involving modernizing data architecture, and resolving data integration challenges Demonstrable experience leading a team including Solution Architects and Subject Matter Experts A comprehensive understanding of processes and supporting technologies for data warehousing, data transformation, data modeling, data visualization and analytics Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data lineage, data loss prevention, data quality, and metadata management Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical external partners Superb interpersonal skills, able to connect with individuals of a diverse set of backgrounds and technical levels Why Join Us?
