Other duties as assigned. What You Bring to the Team: University graduate with Civil Engineering degree specializing in Geotechnical or Geological or currently registered as a P. Eng. Registered MTO RAQS would be an asset. 3-7 years of experience and a strong background in geotechnical engineering and field investigations. Good working knowledge of AutoCAD systems and current geotechnical software applications such as gINT Software and analytical software such as the GeoStudio suite (or similar) and FLAC (or PLAXIS or similar). Experience on Hydroelectric Dams would be considered an asset. Experience with complex geotechnical investigation and writing complete geotechnical foundation design reports. Experience in geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring would be an asset. Knowledge of environmental soil sampling, environmental testing and reporting would be an asset. Excellent organizational ability, writing and verbal communication in English are essential. Resourceful, decision maker, flexible, and positive. Client focused with business acumen., Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate effectively and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues.
