Position SummaryWe are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Electrician/Maintenance Worker to fill a Permanent Full-Time position at the Mills Memorial Hospital.In accordance with established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrician/Maintenance Worker V performs skilled electrical work at the journeyman level in installing, constructing, altering, repairing, maintaining, and servicing electrical equipment and systems, such as building automated control systems, access control, building intrusion and security camera systems. Performs, operates, and maintains heating and air conditioning units, emergency power and other related equipment of the facility. Performs mechanical maintenance, repairs and replacement duties related to the physical plant, buildings, and equipment. Performs trades duties approaching the journeyman level in one or a variety of trades areas such as plumbing and painting in compliances with applicable codes and regulations. May supervise Maintenance Workers and other designated staff.Position requires incumbent to be on call as part as a shared rotation. Position requires incumbent to work multiple sites within Terrace; Seven Sisters, Birchwood Place, Terrace View Lodge and McConnell Estates.
