The Opportunity: WSP's Buildings Transportation team engages in the design of buildings and facilities in the transportation sector. WSP is currently seeking an intermediateMechanical Engineerto join our Buildings Transportation Business Unit, located 3 days at the WSP Office in Thornhill, Ontario. You will apply your technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, BAS/BMS and fire protection to support buildings and facilities designs for our transportation and transit based clients. A major part of our engagement comes from "mega-projects" involving large amounts of interdisciplinary coordination, collaboration, and teamwork. Communication is the key to success on our team, along with a firm understanding of the technical requirements of mechanical systems designs in buildings. Knowledge and experience with Revit and BIM, and with project management are considered highly recommended for this position. What you'll bring to WSP: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Applied Science; Licensedwith PEO (P.Eng).
