The primary responsibility of this position is to assess the suitability of all raw material used in downstream production of engineered wood products. Working with a variety of softwood species SPF, Douglas fir etc. you are required to assess and mark which components make the specification for the component and eliminate errors due to out of grade characteristics. In this position you are also responsible for the set up and safe operation of an advanced optimizing saw.
