At times these individuals may pose a risk to patients and staff through their actions, such as videotaping patients, soliciting drugs, providing contraband, or vandalizing the grounds and buildings. Provides safety and security for approximately 600 staff, 252 patients, visitors and the public in general. All duties are carried out in order to augment the treatment services provided at Selkirk Mental Health Centre (SMHC) to assist patients in their recovery and re- integration into the community.
