The position is at their office on the south shore of Montreal. You will be responsible for and collaborate in the preparation of calculations, reports, plans and quotations for: Wind turbine foundation design; Solar farms supports and foundations design; Battery storage project foundation design; Electrical substation design. You will provide construction support services, in the office and on-site, for renewable energy projects (+/-10% of role). You will ensure design compliance with relevant engineering standards and codes, as well as internal QA/QC procedures. You will use finite element modeling software.What you will bring to WSP: Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering; A desire to participate in projects that have a positive impact on the environment; 3 to 10 years' experience in consulting engineering and structural design; Be a self-motivated leader with a sense of initiative and attention to detail; Willingness to work collaboratively with an enthusiastic and experienced team; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Good command of French and English; Experience on a construction site (considered an asset); Experience in the design of reinforced concrete, piles or electrical substations (considered an asset).
