Maintenance Mechanic PERMANENT DAY Shift - $35/hr to $44/hr to start dep. on exper.LOCATION: Etobicoke, OntarioQualifications:* Mechanical and Electrical maintenance training and aptitude (trade license not required)* 5 yrs+ experience in maintenance of industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment* Experience with metal fabrication / parts production preferred* Good familiarity with drives, gearboxes, and motors* Experience with machining or welding an asset* Knowledge of electrical maintenance 480V and under (wiring, circuits, power suppliers, PLC troubleshooting, etc.)* Ability to work with minimal supervision* Good interpersonal skills and a team player with a safety-first attitude* Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills* Willing and able to work assigned shift as requiredDuties:* Repair, maintaining and/or overhauling automated and PLC controlled fabrication equipment as needed* Troubleshooting fabrication equipment mechanical and any electrical (wiring, circuits, power supplies, etc.), 480V and under* Participating in PM program* Complete all maintenance work in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario and industrial regulations* Perform other duties as assignedPosition reports to: Engineering Team Lead
