ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting to the Senior Building Operator and Operations Manager, you would have a hand in working in a well known building with updates to their DDC, BAS, CCTV as well as Tenant Improvements. You will be gaining valuable experience in the building operations industry. ABOUT THE POSITION As a building operator, this is an opportunity to step away from the tools and gain experience looking at a bigger picture. You will mainly conduct preventative maintenance within the commercial-office sector and schedule trades as needed. You would also be conversing with higher professionals within the company such as vice presidents and executive vice presidents on a weekly basis. On a day to day basis, you will oversee the smooth operation of all building systems, complete building inspections, monitor the HVAC and DDC systems, respond to tenant work orders and oversee contractors. JOB REQUIREMENTS Experience working in a commercial-office and/or commercial-retail capacity. 5th class power engineering ticket (4th class is preferred) Knowledgeable with building structural systems and building automation systems. Experience with Yardi Voyager or Angus Anywhere would be considered an asset. COMPENSATION $60,000 to $80,000 per annum.
