Mentoring program)Some of the key projects on which our Parsons Quebec teams are working on:Improvement of Highway 30 between Boucherville and Brossard;Major rehabilitation of the Louis-H.-La Fontaine tunnel and the Ville-Marie and Viger tunnels;Temporary facilities for the reconstruction of the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge;Construction of the Gordie-Howe International Bridge, as owner's engineer;Rehabilitation of the transport infrastructure and the JFK airport;Several other alternative mode projects in Quebec and Canada, for which Parsons acts as lead designer, owner's engineer or independent certifier.Ideally, you have:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering;5-10 years of experience in roadway infrastructure design;Active member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;Mastery of standards from the Quebec Ministry of Transportation and Sustainable Mobility (MTSM);Some knowledge of standards from the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC);Certification from MTMD and/or the AQTR would be an asset (STC 101, 102 and 201);Excellent coordination skills for multidisciplinary teams, autonomy and initiative;Excellent oral & written communication skills both French & English;Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and budgets;Analytical mindset/communication skills; Leadership skills; Ability to work collaboratively with other Parsons offices around the world;Good knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software; Proficiency with MS Office software.With us, you can:Develop and implement preliminary and final concepts for roadway projects including pavement, roadway geometry, drainage, signage and traffic maintenance;Ensure design compliance with current standards;Prepare and update reports, technical notes and specifications;Participate in the preparation of documentation and cost estimates;Contribute to the preparation of tender documents;Apply resource management concepts, budgets and schedules in project management;Coordinate with other relevant disciplines;Validate constructibility; Assume other responsibilities associated with this position as required.Language of work for positions permanently located in QuebecKnowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and suppliers in Quebec as necessary.
