The Opportunity As a key member of the Wajax team the Parts & Service Clerk is responsible for providing an elevated level of customer service in support of the business of service and parts sales to the market, ensuring efforts are made to support repeat business by supporting front counter/order desk, warehouse and back counter and support the Service Department with administration duties. The Role • Builds and maintains strong customer relations including greeting customers, handling inquiries, providing price quotes, and selling parts.• Prepares and processes necessary documentation for purchases, returns, warranty coverage and other work as required.• Responds to customers in person, via telephone, or electronically in a timely and courteous manner; delivers strong service and salesmanship on the phone order desk and front counter parts sales.• Covers and/or assists warehouse person in shipping product to both local and out-of-town customers utilizing appropriate shipping methods.• Supports the parts needs of the shop to meet work orders by looking up and billing parts to work orders; reviews work orders for accuracy of parts and modifies as needed.• Picks stock for customers as required; receives and inputs stock using electronic systems.• Produces accurate, timely and efficient documentation of all transactions within the parts team.• Daily shipping & receiving• Handle emergency orders• Stock orders• Inter branch transfers• Service-Processing and issuing various invoices, purchase orders and warranty claims, tracking and reporting on department attendance, and assisting with payroll and bookkeeping responsibilities. Position SummaryThales is looking to hire a Offsets and Industrial Participation Analyst to support Thales Canada's Offsets and Industrial Participation team in the development and execution of offset plans. This position will be required to support the development and alignment of a cross country offsets strategy. Will be required to work on multiple bids and programs in parallel and provide appropriate analysis, recommendations and reporting within tight and competing timelines.Key Areas of Responsibility Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Thales to identify, develop and submit activity eligible for offset credit in Canada; Engage with internal and external stakeholders to generate offset reports in accordance with contractual requirements as well as any banking agreements in place with government; Maintain offset records and generate meaningful internal reporting including reporting that measures execution success; Assist Capture Teams in the development of compliant offset proposals.Support the negotiation of contract and subcontract Offset Terms & Conditions; and Provide a point of contact for external stakeholders, including customers, subcontractors, suppliers and government representatives.Monitor, evaluate and provide hands-on assistance supporting long-term strategic areas of ITB/IRBs, and as well as, supporting daily offset operations; Diagnose and recommend improvements to offset proposals, strategy and policies and processes to support direct and indirect business opportunities;Develop and communicate meaningful reporting to measure execution success; Assist in the identification, research and development of policies and procedures that will serve to strengthen the offset initiatives;Responsible for supporting the development of strategic offsets, infrastructure development (reporting and processes), as well as alignment of offsets with existing and projected bids and projects - which includes analyzing offsets activities across the across the organization, recommending solutions and aligning options and identifying and mitigating risks.Minimum RequirementsAdvanced written and verbal communications; Aptitude to partner with various stakeholders to obtain buy-in on new processes and procedures to maximize profitability.Working toward Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, Law or related field.
