This role is responsible for collaborating with multi-disciplinary supervisors in planning, supervising, executing, and reporting of field operations and site sustaining activities, while meeting GCMC environmental and health and safety requirements.The 2024 field program is anticipated to include the operation of two remote camps, completion of a ~6,000 meter drill program, geotechnical test pitting, ground and airborne geophysics, road and bridge maintenance, mobile equipment maintenance, environmental baseline studies, and technical studies supported by five helicopters.The fulltime position will be field-based from approximately June 1st - October 1st, and office-based during the winter months. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing a functional maintenance team. The ILS Specialist I develops all required analysis in support of the Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) functions related to LSA Planning and Execution in support of the vessel project manager. The ILS Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering tasks to supply the vessel internal customer, who is the Project Manager. The ILS Specialist performs functions by partaking, delegating, and guiding the design, build, deliver and operations process of the products relevant to maintainability, reliability, testability and optimize life cycle costs through the definition of required resources to support the product.Note: This position is a 12-month limited term role with eligible benefits and 3 weeks' vacation. Monitoring of aged Corrective Maintenance actions to closure, identifying and advancing actions / owners as the need arises. Identify specific product related Maintenance Failures and intensify findings to the Product Group. Supervise key product Maintenance Failures on a quarterly basis and review against baseline data. Support communication activities internally and to customers, suppliers, relevant industry groups and others as the need arises. Assist in the maintenance and revision of company processes and procedures relating to the functional areas of the business. Performing root cause analysis to identify what caused the failure. With cause of the failure resolved, implement, and verify corrective, or preventive actions, to prevent future occurrences of the failure. Follow schedule and budget. Participate and chair meetings and forums as well as development and support required. Control and achieve the desired quality for all deliveries and communication conducted.
