Bilingual Lead Planner

FLEXIBLE LOCATIONS - MONTREAL REGION Reporting to the Project Control Manager, the bilingual (French/English) Lead Planner will support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, change management, project monitoring, and project control reporting. The hands-on planner's main role will be establishing a Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and monitoring the progress during all phases of projects. The successful candidate will also be required to generate initial schedules, develop detailed schedules, and create schedule impact scenarios (before and after), maintain baselines, provide inputs to schedule variance analysis as well as support the business development team with planning / scheduling needs during proposals development.As a member of the national ERI group, you will have the opportunity to apply your training and experience to complex projects. You will be challenged to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a very high level of quality. You will gain knowledge through available mentoring and training programs. Oversee and support project change management, including subcontractor claims, change requests, claims and dispute resolution. Provide commercial and technical expertise to support proposal development and provide commercial input into contractually defined project control requirements. Ensure adherence to all contract conditions regarding Project Controls requirements, project set-up, monitoring & close-out. Identify commercial/schedule risks and develops mitigation measures to ensure timely and high-quality planning and scheduling-related deliverables. Understand Monte Carlo risk analysis process and contribute to Risk Mitigation Plan. Hire, supervise, coach, develop and mentor project controls personnel (i.e. Project Planning and Scheduling Specialist, Lead, Planner / Scheduler). What You'll Bring to The Team: Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 8-10 years rail transit industry experience. Proven experience and ability in planning, scheduling and managing complex projects. Strong knowledge of the Earned Value Management principles. Proven ability to effectively lead project planning and scheduling staff. Proven problem solver with sound judgment who accepts ownership and accountability. Expert level knowledge of project Planning and Scheduling software which may include Primavera P6 & TILOS. SAP, Hard Dollar, PowerBI, and Synchro knowledge will be an asset.
