(Sunday eve. to Fri. am)Pay Rate: $44.51/hr + benefitsLOCATION: Breslau, Ontario (15 km from downtown Kitchener)Qualifications:* Industrial Millwright (433A) certification - Inter Provincial / Red Seal OR Ontario* Certificate of Millwright Apprenticeship an asset* 5 yrs+ in an automated industrial production environment performing mechanical maintenance of plant equipment* 2 yrs minimum experience in maintenance in a food processing environment* Competent using SMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding processes* Good knowledge of oral and written English and Mathematics* Working knowledge of OHSA standards and regulations* Any PLC troubleshooting or program editing experience an asset* Good attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills* Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills* Able to work to deadlines and multi-task* Able to uphold confidentiality* Reliable* Able to work independently and effectively in a team environment* Able to work in a cool / cold environment* Good attendance and safety record* Willing and able to work assigned shift and overtime to meet customer needsDuties:* Provide support in troubleshooting / repairs and system improvements (optimization) to ensure quality and efficiency* Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures; identify replacement parts* Assist on-site contractors as required* Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on all equipment as required* Document and maintain details of inspections* Participate in ongoing cross-training, multi-skilling activities within the organization* Demonstrate a sense of urgency in achieving results* Ensure that all operator safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations* Know and understand process documentation and customer specific requirements, as they relate to this job function* Install, align, dismantle and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools* Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as forklifts, jacks and handling equipment to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, repair of machinery* Operate machine tools such as grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery* Rebuild and/or overhaul machinery and equipment as required* Confined space entry and working from heights as required* Use or wear all protective equipment required for the assigned tasks and in compliance with Company policies* Follow and comply with all Operational Procedures and Policies including the Ontario Health and Safety Act and regulations* Interact with CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) on a daily basis* Follow and comply with all Food Safety regulatory requirements, including GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
