Job Summary The Production Manager reports directly to the owner/General Manager and is responsible for the overall operations and production flow within a fully equipped modern manufacturing facility. Producing a wide range of commercial millwork this is a hands-on position working directly with the production shop employees and the design/engineering staff to ensure that all scheduled projects are completed on time, to agreed specifications, while remaining within budget. The incumbent will train and manage regular production staff and implement new methods to facilitate better production efficiencies. Taking responsibility for contributing to a safe work environment for coworkers, customers, and site visitors. For this role, you'll come equipped with: Safety driven mindset Ability to perform repetitive, manual tasks for extended periods of time including piling lumber, standing for long hours, walking, shoveling, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs Experience with and/or around machinery and equipment is an asset but not mandatory Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers High degree of urgency and attention to detail The wage for this role is $24.08 per hour.
