The psychiatry service supports rural satellite clinics for mental health and addictions, seniors mental health, community outreach teams, clozapine, and depot clinics, consult services for adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, consultation with medical units and emergency departments and full Child and Adolescent Clinical Services. The hospital serves the people of Kings and Annapolis Counties, and provides specialty services as a referral centre for the Annapolis Valley and other areas of Western Nova Scotia.
