The NP is also integral for the family in providing consistency, empathic support and education. These patients have complex medical needs and will require in-patient monitoring, co-ordination of care needs, education and optimization of therapy. The NP will be working with the team which comprises surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiology and other medical specialists.
