Installation Technician - Fall Protection Systems:  Harvey 2490We are an industry leader in providing permanent fall protection systems for both new construction & retrofit construction projects.Our company has been engineering, supplying, installing and inspecting permanent fall protection solutions since 1993.We are currently looking for a full-time Installation technician in our Calgary Office.The right candidate should be proficient in performing the following primary duties:Perform installations of fall protection systems, anchors and equipment to new construction and retrofit building industrial projects.Review of project drawings, layout of proposed anchor systems in preparation and coordination with all required parties.Organize shipment of product, packing slips and job-site instructions for installation to job-site on a timely basis and follow-up with Project Superintendent to ensure a proper installation will be achieved.Ensure a complete and timely installation has been carried out. Inspect project work prior to leaving site and if final assembly has occurred, request production of Log Book & Comprehensive Report Package for client.Complete required site review reports and internal documentation and return to your immediate supervisor as required.Follow all Company, Legislative and Job-Site safety policies and procedures.Assist with other installation and inspection personnel when required.Maintain a high level of communication with customers and Atlas staff.Assist with large projects as required. Facilities Maintenance Technician

This role is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks including, but not limited to: carpentry, electrical, heating, Ventilation and Air Condition (HVAC), plumbing etc. in accordance with established SOPs, GMP guidelines and EH&S policies.Duties and Responsibilities:Inspect buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair; make notes and recommendationsPerform minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures such as wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords etc. using appropriate hand, powder and specialty toolsPerform minor plumbing maintenance such as replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry work such as preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles etc.Reconfigure, install, position and remount modular offices and space such as furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, lighting, file cabinets etc. to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various hand, power and specialty tools, dollies and hand trucksPrepare the surfaces and paint various structure and equipment such as walls, refrigerators, evaporative coolers, floors, roofs, doors, restroom facilities etc. to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and maintain a safe working environment using various painting equipment and related tools such as sprayers, rollers, brushes and thinnersShow dignity, respect while performing duties and contributes to department goalsPerform other related duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications:2 years experiences in facility maintenance and working in manufacturing environment is preferredCompletion of high school educationBasic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry is a plusStrong interpersonal & problem solving skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionA team player, a positive contributor; open to suggesting and implementing ideas to better the businessOpen to participating in skill enhancement programsExperience in food/pharmaceutical environment an assetOperate hand tools, power tools, basic shop tools (grinder, drill press, sand blaster, band saw, etc.). Desirable experience to include light industrial, commercial, institutional, health care, recreational buildings and heavy industrial buildings. Ability to work with senior staff in the development of drawing packages, engineering calculations and technical reports.
