The Opportunity Responsible for providing quality workmanship, consistent service, and technical knowledge to the customers. Performs all tasks related to the testing, diagnosing, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning of heavy equipment, transmissions, engines (gasoline and diesel), and engine components typically on-site at customer or roadside assistance. The Role Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs. Communicate with equipment owners for authorization of servicing and repairs as required. Service and repair equipment in the shop and on-site for the customer. Recondition and remanufacture components as required for equipment, engine and hydraulic repairs. Minimum 2-3 years utility experience constructing, installing and maintaining overhead, underground, and distribution systems. Thorough knowledge of Provincial Electrical Utilities Regulations, EUSR, and provincial specific Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Codes. Knowledge of the UWPC. Demonstrated ability to lead and effectively work on teams with a desire to provide excellent customer service. Ability to interpret drawings, develop / interpret work, instructions, and plan projects for self and others. Valid Drivers License and DZ, AZ is preferred. Electromechanic Technician Purpose Statement The Electromechanic Technician is responsible for the Preventative Maintenance / Troubleshooting / Electromechanical repairs of all production related equipment to ensure effective and efficient processes.
