The Opportunity Responsible for providing quality workmanship, consistent service, and technical knowledge to the customers.Performs all tasks related to the testing, diagnosing, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning of heavy equipment, transmissions, engines (gasoline and diesel), and engine components typically on-site at customer or road side assistance. WSP is currently seeking a Surveyor to join our Transportation Engineering Team, located at our Winnipeg office. A day in the life: Perform various construction surveys for Transportation Engineering projects; Duties include topographical data pickup, construction layout, quantity pickup and calculations, processing surveys via computer software; Mentor junior surveyors and assistants; Manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision; Familiar with using survey instruments and equipment including Trimble GPS, Total Stations, and levels.
