Reporting to Service Manager, the Parts advisor is responsible for ensuring the distribution and/or availability of parts when technicians start work in the department. He/she will be responsible for tendering bids, creating options, and updating them for the sales department. Understanding of Project Management Professional best practices Specific responsibilities include: Lead a cross functional Engineering and/or Operations Team of about 10 people, with clear goals and timeline and partner with Operations Functional Managers to ensure a high performing team. Prepare clear, concise program status reports with appropriate detail to broad stakeholder group including executive management, extended project team, functional managers and customer Use critical thinking to make effective decisions to move project team forward with consideration of risk assessment and trade-off analyses Requirements: Ideal candidate will have a broad experience in project management with active PMP and/or Agile Scrum certification 2-3 years relevant work experience in managing multi-discipline projects with proven ability to interface and work cooperatively across the organization Experience in fuel cell system or automotive hardware, controls or software development life cycle Very strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and shift priorities as needed The typical hiring range for this position is CAD$75,000 - CAD$93,000 per annum.
